Abstract

The decrease of the leiomyoma size under the influence of ulipristal acetate therapy took place in women with initially high level of endometrial TGFpi+ macrophages and with elevation of TGFpi+ and CD163+ macrophages after treatment. Lack of the treatment effect was associated with diminishment of M2 macrophages and increases the amount of IL-12+ macrophages.
