INFLUENCE OF METHYLPREDNISOLON ON THE ACTIVATION OF TCR-STIMULATED CD4+CD45RO+ T-LYMPHOCYTES IN PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS IN THE SYSTEM IN VITRO

Abstract

The effect of methylprednisolone (MP) on the functional activity of CD4+ CD45RO+ T cells obtained in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and healthy donors in the in vitro system was studied. It has been shown that MP significantly reduces the number of TCR-activated СD4+СD45RO+СD25+ and СD4+СD45RO+СD71+ T-lymphocytes in cultures of RA patients and in healthy donors. MP, reducing the number of СD4+СD28+ T cells, promotes the formation of terminal-differentiated memory effector T-cells.
